On November 2, the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls Day), we come together in prayer to remember and honor our loved ones who have gone before us. As Catholics, we believe that death is not the end, but that through Christ, we have the hope and promise of eternal life.
In remembrance of our faithful departed, we are preparing for our 5th Annual Memorial Luminary Lighting.
A Memorial Luminary Lighting is a beautiful tradition in which small lights or candles are placed in honor of loved ones who have passed away. Each luminary represents a life remembered, a prayer offered, and the light of Christ that continues to shine even in the midst of grief. Together, these lights create a touching display of remembrance, faith, and hope in the promise of eternal life.
We invite all parishioners to participate in this meaningful tradition as we remember and pray for our departed family members and friends.
Forms and additional information are available in the Religious Education Office. For questions, please contact Jillian Guidry.
All donations will benefit our Religious Education Department.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
